Four Finger Five
A true Power Trio, Four Finger Five is known for the full, powerful sound they create with only three members. Consisting of guitarist/lead singer Joe Sturgill, bassist Mike Phillips, and drummer Steve Harris, the band was recently named one of Billboard magazines’ “Top 5 New Bands Breaking The Rules.” 4F5 was also cited as "One of Billboards top up and coming festival bands" after becoming one of just a handful of bands to perform at both Rothbury Music Festivals.
The band presents a unique mix of rock and blues while at the same time bringing together elements of pop, soul, and even reggae. This diverse mastering and intertwining of genres proves Four Finger Five is indeed a live band. Each show is filled with powerful, captivating songs that are robust with unique lyrical content as well as top-notch musicianship and improvisation. The result is an undeniable and very familiar, infectious groove, reminiscent of music of the power trios of the past but intertwined with the feel and popularity of today’s modern music.
