West Michigan Burnerz

Josh Colquitt, a.k.a. “Captain Havoc” brings a well-rounded performance to the picnic.  You may find him juggling while ridding a unicycle doing back flips, hand springs and all kinds of crazy tricks that would bake a gymnast blush or just some amazing slight of hand tricks!  You never know what he might have up his sleeve.

Shoreline Barbershop Chorus

In an effort to raise awareness for their organization, the Muskegon Shoreline Barbershop Chorus will bring their musical talent to the annual Plumbs Picnic.  A variety of “a capella” groups will roam the Picnic grounds for your entertainment.

On Saturday, November 6th, 2010, the Muskegon Shoreline Barbershop Chorus is conducting the annual “Rockin’ Barbershop” Harmony Festival. This enormous undertaking has been a complete success in previous years. Imagine 250 area high school kids singing four part “a capella” barbershop harmony with excitement, enthusiasm, and full choreography.  This year, we’ll have over 20 school districts and 250 vocal students enrolled in this wonderful musical event.

With the help of the area local schools, instructors from the Sweet Adeline Society, the Barbershop Harmony society (SPEBSQSA International), and the Barbershop Harmony Society Pioneer District, we will hold a series of Vocal Seminars starting at 8:00 AM and continuing through 5:00pm on November 6th. On the evening of November 6th, the students will showcase their extraordinary talents in the Shoreline Chorus Show Barbershop “Rockin’ Barbershop” Production as boy choir, girl choir, and quartets.
