Scott Sheldon is a Singer/ Songwriter from West Michigan who has often been compared to Gordon Lightfoot. He writes heart warming story-songs inspired by family, friends, Michigan and social issues. Some make you reach for kleenex while others bring on a lively chuckle, such as the comical "Turtle Fence Song" about a fence built along Highway 31 to protect turtles from being killed while trying to cross the road. Scott began his musical journey playing around campfires for family and friends. Now he carries a diverse list of venues under his belt from clubs to coffee houses, showcases, hosting open mics, and recently playing, The Michigan Irish Music Festival, and opening for famed Canadian folk singer Garnet Rogers. When Scott performs he also shares his love of Irish and Scottish folk music, love that stems from his hobby of historical reenacting of 18th Century. He smoothly takes on the persona of an Irish troubadour, accent and all, sometimes sporting a kilt.
To enjoy the music at the Sauza Tiki Stage patrons must have a ticket to gain entry to the main concert venue.
